J/ψ-N center of mass energy dependence of nuclear absorption effect on J/ψ production

In this paper, the J/ψ nuclear absorption effect is studied at RHIC and LHC energies with the EKS98 shadowing parameterizations. By assuming that the J/ψ absorption cross section, σ abs , increases with the charmonium-nucleon (J/ψ-N) center of mass energy, s J/ψN , it is found that σ abs should depend on x F (or y) at a certain center of mass energy per nucleon pair,s , especially at LHC energies. The theoretical results with the x F (or y)-dependence of the absorption effect are in good agreement with the experiment data from PHENIX in d-Au collisions and the predicted results will be examined by the forthcoming experimental data from LHC in d-Pb collisions. Finally, we also present baseline calculations of cold nuclear matter effects on J/ψ production in nucleus-nucleus (A-A) collisions and find that the x F (or y)-dependence of absorption effect is very small at both RHIC and LHC energies in A-A collisions.

Influence of the Nucleon Hard Partons Distribution on J/φ Suppression in a GMC Framework被引量:1

In a Glauber Monte Carlo framework, taking into account the transverse spatial distribution of hard partons in the nudeon, we analyze the nuclear modification factor RdAu for J/φ in d+Au collisions with EPS09 shadowing parametrization. After the influence of nucleon hard partons distribution is considered, a clearly upward correction is revealed for the dependence of RdAu on Neon in peripheral d+Au collisions, however, an unconspicuous correction is shown for the results versus PT. The theoretical results are in good agreement with the experimental data from PHENIX.

重离子碰撞中的量子饱和机制被引量:5

分别利用胶子半经典饱和与量子饱和机制,研究了相对论重离子碰撞中净余质子产生截面的大横动量现象。通过贝塞尔函数多项式近似与辛普森求积法的结合应用,解决了对贝塞尔函数的二重高振荡积分问题。计算发现:量子饱和机制的计算结果能很好地解释布鲁克海文国家实验室的最新实验现象,从而证实了高能重离子碰撞中胶子量子饱和机制的存在。

Gluon saturation and net-proton spectra in relativistic nucleus-nucleus collisions被引量:2

By means of the AKK08 fragmentation function, the net-proton transverse momentum (pT) spectra in A+A collisions are studied with two phenomenological models based on the Color Glass Condensate formalism. After a χ2 analysis of the experimental data from BRAHMS, the normalization constant C is extracted at RHIC energies of √sNN =62.4 and 200 GeV, and the theoretical results of the net-proton pT spectra at selected rapidities are also given. It is shown that the theoretical results are in good agreement with the experimental data. Finally, assuming the constant C should have an exponent dependence of √sNN, we also predict the theoretical results of net-proton pT spectra at LHC energies of √sNN = 2.76, 3.94, and 5.52 TeV.

蒙特卡罗方法在研究J/ψ大横动量现象中的应用

利用美国相对论重离子对撞机(Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider,RHIC)提供的质子-质子碰撞中J/ψ产生随快度变化的最新实验数据,抽取了快度在作为随机变量时的概率分布密度函数,在建立的Glauber蒙特卡罗模型中研究了氘-金碰撞中J/ψ粒子产生的大横动量现象。经计算发现:在考虑到核遮蔽效应和核吸收效应后,理论结果能很好地解释最新实验现象。

ep散射中极小x区域的量子饱和现象被引量:2

利用建立在超杨-米尔斯理论基础上的胶子量子态饱和模型及Peterson璨夸克碎裂函数,在色玻璃凝聚理论框架下研究了ep(electron proton)深度非弹性散射中的D-介子产生。计算发现:在LHeC(Large Hadron-electronCollider)能量下,小Q2区域会出现极小Bjorken-x区域的璨介子产生截面不依赖于x变化的现象。就LHeC能量下D-介子产生截面随横向动量变化的实验现象给出了理论预言,理论结果将被即将运行的LHeC实验检验。
