Microstructural evolution and mechanical properties of in situ TiB_2/Al composites under high-intensity ultrasound被引量:2

Microstructural evolution and mechanical properties of in situ TiB2/Al composites fabricated with exothermic reaction process under high-intensity ultrasound produced by the magnetostrictive transducer were investigated. In this method, the microstructure and grain refining performance of the TiB2/Al composites were characterized by optical morphology(OM), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), energy-dispersive spectrometer(EDS), and X-ray diffraction(XRD) analysis.Microstructural observations show a decreasing trend in the grain size of the composites due to the ultrasound and the content of TiB2 particles in the composites. Compared with the process without ultrasound, the morphology and agglomeration of TiB2 particles are improved by high-intensity ultrasound. Meanwhile, it is proposed that the formation of TiB2 particles occurs via the transformation from Ti Al3, and at the optimal amount of the reactants, the conversion efficiency of Ti Al3 into TiB2 almost reaches up to 100 %. Finally, the effects of high-intensity ultrasound and TiB2 particles on the mechanical properties of the TiB2/Al composites were also discussed.

内氧化法制备MgO弥散强化铁基材料被引量:1

采用机械合金化—低温表面氧化—高温内氧化—还原处理制备MgO弥散强化铁粉后再经放电等离子(SPS)烧结制备MgO弥散强化铁基材料,并通过SEM和EDS对材料的组织和断口进行分析。结果表明:添加MgO能够细化晶粒,并均匀地分布于基体中,MgO颗粒尺寸200nm^1μm。添加MgO强化后,材料的拉伸断口由粗大的韧窝变成细小的等轴韧窝;MgO弥散强化铁基材料烧结体的室温力学性能得到有效提高,Fe+1.0%MgO的抗拉强度为342.6MPa,屈服强度为276.3MPa,硬度为61HRB,相对于纯铁分别提高了20.5%、54.2%和84.8%。

高性能2024铝合金的制备和性能研究被引量:7

采用高能球磨、氮气烧结以及热挤压的工艺制备高性能弥散强化2024铝合金(Al-Mg-Cu系),对烧结和挤压弥散强化2024铝合金的组织和性能进行了研究。结果表明,氮气烧结过程中产生的液相有助于材料的致密化,烧结后的铝合金致密度较高,相对密度达到97.1%。所制备的弥散强化2024铝合金通过热挤压和T6热处理后具有优异的力学性能,其抗拉强度达到612 MPa,屈服强度465 MPa,性能要远远优于普通的2024变形铝合金。

Influence of nano-Al_2O_3-reinforced oxide-dispersion-strengthened Cu on the mechanical and tribological properties of Cu-based composites被引量:2

The mechanical and tribological properties of Cu-based powder metallurgy(P/M) friction composites containing 10wt%–50wt% oxide-dispersion-strengthened(ODS) Cu reinforced with nano-Al_2O_3 were investigated. Additionally, the friction and wear behaviors as well as the wear mechanism of the Cu-based composites were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM) in conjunction with energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS) elemental mapping. The results indicated that the Cu-based friction composite containing 30wt% ODS Cu exhibited the highest hardness and shear strength. The average and instantaneous friction coefficient curves of this sample, when operated in a high-speed train at a speed of 300 km/h, were similar to those of a commercial disc brake pad produced by Knorr-Bremse AG(Germany). Additionally, the lowest linear wear loss of the obtained samples was(0.008 ± 0.001) mm per time per face, which is much lower than that of the Knorr-Bremse pad((0.01 ± 0.001) mm). The excellent performance of the developed pad is a consequence of the formation of a dense oxide composite layer and its close combination with the pad body.

Fabrication and mechanical properties of high-performance aluminum alloy被引量:4

High-performance Al–Cu–Mg alloy was fabricated by high-energy ball milling, sintering, and hot extrusion. The microstructure and mechanical properties of the material were preliminarily investigated. Results show that the formation of liquid phase during sintering promotes the densification of the aluminum powders. A97.1 % theoretical density is achieved in this alloy after sintering. The material shows excellent mechanical properties after extrusion and heat treatment. The ultimate tensile strength and yield strength of the extruded samples with heat treatment are 613 and 465 MPa, respectively.

爆炸喷涂NiMo-TiC金属陶瓷涂层组织及工艺的研究被引量:3

采用爆炸喷涂系统运用不同的氧燃配比在不锈钢基体上制备了NiMo-TiC金属陶瓷涂层,主要研究了氧气流量和燃气流量配比对涂层硬度和相成分的影响,探讨了喷涂过程中元素的氧化行为。使用涂层横截面金相分析方法,对其硬度及孔隙率进行测试,利用X射线衍射(XRD),扫描电镜(SEM)等对其组织微观结构及相成分进行测试,测试结果表明:涂层截面的维氏硬度可以达到HV0.3850左右,孔隙率接近1%,当提高氧气与燃气的配比到1.25∶1.00时,涂层的维氏硬度有所下降,涂层结构为片层状组织,与过渡层结合紧密,但涂层中存在与粉末粒径相当的未熔TiC颗粒。XRD测试结果显示,部分TiC在喷涂过程中会在氧的作用下形成TiO和Ti2O3,当提高氧燃配比时,TiO在喷涂气流中氧元素作用下转变为Ti2O3,Ti2O3的相对含量随混合气中氧气比例的增加而增加。大部分Mo元素在喷涂焰流中被氧化,其氧化产物被爆炸产生的气流加热气化,没有沉积到涂层中。研究发现氧气与乙炔的配比比例为1.1∶1.0时,喷枪中的气流更接近爆轰波的理论状态,涂层具有较好的综合性能。

风电用铜基粉末冶金制动闸片的制备与性能被引量:4

以电解铜粉、还原铁粉、石墨等为主要原料,采用粉末冶金加压烧结工艺制备风电用铜基粉末冶金制动闸片,利用高温膨胀仪测定压坯在氢气气氛下的烧结动力学曲线,并表征烧结样品的显微组织与力学性能和摩擦磨损性能。结果表明:该制动闸片的最佳烧结温度为830℃;在此温度下烧结的制动闸片的布氏硬度为42.7 HBS,抗压强度达到222 MPa,抗弯强度为108 MPa;在MM-1000Ⅱ摩擦磨损试验机上进行20次动摩擦实验,摩擦因数稳定在0.3左右,磨损率仅为0.021 6 cm3/MJ,具有良好的制动性能,能够满足我国风力发电用制动闸片的使用性能要求。

Mechanical properties of WC–Co coatings with different decarburization levels被引量:3

In this study, two kinds of WC–Co coatings with different decarburization levels were deposited by high-velocity oxy-fuel(HVOF) spraying using the ultrafine WC–Co composite powder and commercial micronsized powder, respectively. The hardness and elastic modulus were measured on the top surface and cross sections of the prepared coatings by the nanoindentation method. The results show that the ultrafine-structured coating has much higher density and inhibited decarburization than the conventional coating, which thus results in higher hardness and elastic modulus values than the micronsized coating. The wear resistance of thermal-sprayed cermet coatings greatly depends on the cross-sectional hardness and elastic modulus which reflects the bond strength between splats to some extent. Based on the analysis, a better understanding of the microstructure and properties in cermet coating materials was obtained.

烧结温度对SiO_2颗粒强化AZ91镁合金组织与性能的影响被引量:2

采用元素粉球磨法,添加3%Si O2(质量分数,下同)作为增强颗粒,热压烧结制备出Si O2颗粒增强AZ91镁合金,并对其显微结构和室温力学性能进行测试分析。结果表明:当热压烧结温度低于580℃时,随温度升高,材料密度提高,晶粒大小未发生明显变化;但烧结温度超过580℃后,材料密度有所下降,晶粒明显长大,抗拉强度下降。AZ91-3%Si O2最佳热压烧结温度为580℃,材料的抗拉强度达114 MPa。

弥散强化钨镍铁高比重合金的制备及性能研究被引量:8

钨基高比重合金在航天航空、兵器等行业中有着广泛应用,但传统钨镍铁高比重合金需通过后续形变强化处理提高力学性能,限制了其在国防工业和民用领域的广泛应用。利用弥散强化手段,当强化相在基体内呈弥散质点或粒状分布时,可显著提高合金强度和硬度,且塑性和韧性下降不大。本文研究了Y_2O_3弥散强化95W-3.5Ni-1.5Fe合金的制备工艺及性能。与传统钨镍铁高比重合金制备相比,本文首先利用化学气相迁移机制制备Y_2O_3分布在颗粒内部的弥散强化钨粉,重点研究原料种类对弥散强化钨粉粒度的影响以及成形、烧结工艺,利用X射线衍射(XRD)分析、场发射扫描电子显微镜(FESEM)对弥散强化钨粉及弥散强化钨进行性能表征。结果表明:WO2.9+Y_2O_3体系制备的弥散强化钨粉粒度最小,约1μm;经1480℃烧结90 min,弥散强化钨镍铁高比重合金的相对密度达98.6%,Y_2O_3在钨晶粒内呈弥散分布;钨合金的显微硬度达HV 532,表现出较高韧性。
