Liquidus and phase equilibria in CaO-SiO2-5%MgO-20%Al2O3-TiO2 system

The single hot thermocouple technique(SHTT) and high temperature equilibrium technique were combined to investigate the phase diagram of the CaO-SiO_2-5%MgO-20%Al_2O_3-TiO_2 system.The 1300 ℃ to 1500 ℃ liquidus lines are calculated according to the thermodynamic equations based on the pseudo-melting temperatures measured by the single hot thermocouple technique.The phase equilibria relationships are experimentally determined at 1400 ℃ using the high temperature equilibria technique followed by X-ray fluorescence(XRF),X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDX) analysis.The liquid phase(L),melilite solid solution phase((C_2MS_2,C_2AS)_(ss)),diopside phase(CMS_2) and perovskite phase(CaOTiO_2) are found.Coupled with the liquidus lines and equilibria results,the phase diagram is constructed for the specified region of the CaO-SiO_2-5%MgO-20%Al_2O_3-TiO_2 system.

20Mn23AlV钢用低反应性连铸保护渣的开发被引量:7

20Mn23AlV高锰无磁钢的高铝含量导致连铸过程中钢水与连铸保护渣的剧烈反应,连铸坯产生大量裂纹缺陷,影响其连铸正常生产。为提高铸坯质量,保证20Mn23AlV高锰钢连铸生产顺行,本研究对现场生产20Mn23AlV的连铸工艺和采用的连铸保护渣进行了系统的研究和分析。通过实验室的感应加热炉进行渣-金反应试验,并结合化学分析和扫描电镜等方法研究开发出20Mn23AlV低反应性连铸保护渣,并采用工业试验证明采用低反应性连铸保护渣可以消除连铸坯表面裂纹缺陷,20Mn23AlV高锰钢铸坯修磨量可由8%降低至1%。

采用针铁矿法分离铬铁矿硫酸浸出溶液中的Cr3+与Fe3+.结果表明,以Fe2(SO4)3溶液中加入适量KOH后生成的Fe(OH)3为前驱体,在120℃的水热条件下保温8 h后可制备出晶体发育良好的针铁矿晶种.将铬铁矿硫酸浸出液的Fe3+浓度稀释至1 g/L以下并加入针铁矿晶种,在p H=2.5、温度90℃条件下保温4 h后,Fe3+以针铁矿晶体沉淀析出,能实现铁与铬的分离,除铁率为97%,铬损失率为33%.

Effect of Al2O3 modification on enrichment and stabilization of chromium in stainless steel slag被引量:7

Spinel phase is considered to be the optimal phase for stabilization of chromium in stainless steel slag.In order to restrain chromium leaching from slag for the effective environmental protection,Al_2O_3 was utilized for the modification treatment,and the effects on the enrichment and stabilization of chromium were investigated. The mineral phases and the existence state of chromium in slag with various Al_2O_3 contents at different basicities( w_(CaO)/w_(SiO_2) were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive spectroscopy( SEM-EDS) and X-ray diffraction( XRD). The results showed that chromium mainly existed in the glass and spinel phases at basicity of 1. 0 and 1. 5. As the slag basicity increased to 2. 0,chromium was also found in periclase phase. Al_2O_3 in the stainless steel slag reacted with MgO and Cr_2O_3,which could generate the Al-rich Mg(Cr_xAl_(1- x))_2O_4 solid solution. Moreover,the addition of Al_2O_3 was favorable to reduce the solubility of chromium oxide in liquid phase and suppress the precipitation of periclase phase. The experimental results demonstrated that Al_2O_3 modification has a positive influence on the enrichment and the stabilization of chromium in the stainless steel slag.

Viscous properties of new mould flux based on aluminate system with CeO_2 for continuous casting of RE alloyed heat resistant steel被引量:4

The conventional mould fluxes can not be applied to the continuous casting of RE alloyed heat resistant steel, because severe slag-metal interface reactions occur generally in the mold. To restrain the interface reaction and improve conditions for continuous casting, a new mould flux based on aluminate system was devised. The viscous properties were investigated. Scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction were applied to detect and characterize the crystalline phases in the continuous cooling process. The results showed that appropriate addition of CeO_2 could avoid the precipitation of CaO and decrease the viscosity of the mould flux. Increasing the mass ratio of CaO /Al_2O_3, especially to a value exceeding 1, could worsen the stability of the mould flux. With a content of less than 14 wt.%, Li_2O could reduce the viscosity and breaking temperature, but its effect could be weakened for the promoted precipitation of LiAlO_2. To obtain a mould flux with stable viscous properties, such as viscosity and breaking temperature, appropriate contents of CeO_2 and Li_2O should be controlled to around 10 wt.% and 14 wt.%, while the mass ratio of CaO /Al_2O_3 should not be more than 1.

在碳热还原反应热力学分析的基础上,通过球团还原焙烧实验,并结合物相分析和成分分析,对含铬提钒尾渣中金属氧化物的碳热还原过程进行了系统研究。实验结果表明,在不同的还原温度下,铁、铬、钒、锰、钛等有价金属氧化物展现出不同的还原反应特征和富集迁移规律。

熔分过程中铌、磷在渣铁两相间的分配比被引量:4

以白云鄂博铌精矿经预还原后在电炉内熔分所形成的渣铁体系为研究对象,通过实验考察了熔分过程中铌、磷在渣铁两相间分配比的变化规律.结果表明,在本实验条件下,铌、磷的分配比随铁液中碳质量分数的增加而减小,当碳达到饱和时,铌氧化物会在渣铁界面处被还原为碳化铌,熔分终点w[C]应控制在3.42%以下;铌、磷的分配比随温度升高而减小,熔分温度可控制在1 450℃左右;铌、磷的分配比随渣中FeO质量分数的增加而增大,熔分终点w(FeO)应控制在5.85%左右;铌、磷的分配比随熔渣光学碱度的升高而增大,添加MgO可明显降低磷的分配比.

Descaling of hot-rolled stainless steel is generally implemented through pickling process in HNO3-HF mixed acids,which induces severe environmental concerns of nitrogen oxide(NOx)gases and nitrites.According to the electrochemical measurement,the mass loss test and the appearance analysis,a new pickling process which employed HCl-based solution was proposed and evaluated to provide theoretical basis for the development of environment-friendly and highly effective pickling process.Under the experimental condition,the HCl-based solution can compete with ordinary HNO3-HF mixed acids in terms of pickling efficiency,surface integrity and the removal of Crdepleted layer.The descaling process of 430hot-rolled stainless steel in the HCl-based solution consisted of three steps.The descaling solution penetrated the oxide scales into the underlying metal,dissolving the Cr-depleted layer and part of substrates.The oxide scales peeled off from the stainless steel and a polished and smooth surface was exposed.The descaled stainless steel was dissolved uniformly in the HCl-based solution;therefore,the pickling duration was vital for desired surface integrity.Under the static condition,the appropriate descaling time of 430 hotrolled stainless steel in HCl-based solution was 400 s.
