CO_2气体保护焊温度场的数值模拟被引量:12

为了研究强制对流对气体保护焊温度场的影响,通过红外热像仪检测了CO2气体保护焊的温度场,发现在熔池及其邻近区域温度呈圆锥型分布.在此实验结果的基础上,确定了2.0 mm的高斯热源热流分布参数.在详细分析多种对流边界条件下,通过ANSYS对有强制对流效果的气体保护焊温度场进行了数值模拟.确定了适用于有强制对流效果的气体保护焊的对流边界条件计算公式.对焊接温度场的峰值温度和t8/5等参数的实验结果与模拟结果对比分析表明,强制对流边界条件是气体保护焊温度场尤其是近缝区温度分布数值模拟的关键因素之一.

Study of acoustic signal in the process of resistance spot welding based on array sensor system

This investigation was performed to study acoustic field signal in order to improve RSW quality. Researchers firstly built an acoustic array sensor system,which included 8 MPA-416 acoustic sensors,data acquisition card and LabVIEW. The system obtained the acoustic field information in the process of nugget growing. Due to the nonlinearity field signal,array sensor algorithm was utilized to quantitatively analyze the characteristics of acoustic field and reduced noise. The experiment and calculation results show that array sensor system can acquire acoustic field signal of nugget growing in the RSW process and array processing algorithm based on acoustic field can extract characteristic parameters to evaluate RSW quality. It was concluded that the acoustic array sensor system offers a new methodology for RSW quality inspection.

Identification of acoustic emission signal in aluminum alloys spot welding based on fractal theory被引量:1

The acoustic emission signal of aluminum alloys spot welding includes the information of forming nugget and is one of the important parameters in the quality control. Due to the nonlinearity of the signals, classic Euclidean geometry can not be applied to depict exactly. The fractal theory is implemented to quantitatively describe the characteristics of the acoustic emission signals. The experiment and calculation results show that the box counting dimension of acoustic emission signal, between 1 and 2, are distinctive from different nugget areas in AC spot welding. It is proved that box counting dimension is an effective characteristic parameter to evaluate spot welding quality. In addition, fractal theory can also be applied in other spot welding parameters, such as voltage, current, electrode force and so on, for the purpose of recognizing the spot welding quality.

Analysis of Acoustic Emission Signal by Fractal Theory in Aluminum Alloy Spot Welding

The relation between acoustic emission signal and nugget during aluminum alloy spot welding was investigated in order to evaluate spot welding quality. Due to the nonlinearity of the signals, fractal theory was utilized to quantitatively describe the characteristics of the signals instead of classical Euclidean geometry which cannot describe the acoustic emission signal accurately. Through experiments and computing, the box counting dimension is found distinct from other acoustic emission signals and is a better approach to discriminating weld nugget stages. Results show that fractal dimensions increase from 1.51 to 1.78,and they are related to nugget areas added from non-fusion to over-heated nugget.And the box counting dimension can effectively evaluate the quality of the nugget in the spot welding and can be applied with current, displace, and other spot welding parameters.

The Asymmetric Laplace Law for distribution of aluminum contact resistance in spot welding

This paper investigates the distribution of contact resistance of the aluminum alloy in the squeeze stage. A new method of measuring path’s resistance is proposed firstly. Contact resistances are calculated accurately by the systems of 5 linear equations and solutions show that three contact resistances are different. The probability density functions of contact resistance in workpiece/workpiece(W/W) and upper electrode/workpiece(E/W) show that the curve shape has steeper peak and heavier tail than that of the normal distribution. Non-parameter hypothesis test is performed and the result shows that R2,R4 reject the normal distribution using chi-square and kolmogoroo statistic D method. Therefore, the Asymmetric Laplace distribution is fitted to empirical distributions and is applied to quantify the influence of random contact resistance. The result illustrates that AL distribution is very close to contact resistance of W/W and upper E/W and normal distribution has some deviation. The paper is helpful to research the initial nugget conditions, weldability and the transient multi-coupling field.

Eigenvalue extraction of current signal during spot welding based on space-phase reconstruction

Nonlinear methods are used to analyze current signal of spot welding and the minimum embedding dimension,correlation dimension,the optimal time delay and the largest Lyapunov exponent of current signal time series are calculated in this paper. The chaotic character of current signal time series is discovered. Then a chaotic neural network is built and used to predict the future current signal. Means of residual error out of the network are used as eigenvalue of current signal during spot welding. It is shown that spatter can greatly affect the means of residual error of spot welding after analysis,the mean values of output errors of signal contaminated by spatter noise are more than 0.08,but the mean values of output errors of the signal with no spatter noise are less than 0.04,so mean of residual errors can be employed as the character of spatter.
