In the framework of the SU(3) simple group model,we consider the single top quark production process e^-γ→v_eb(?).We find that the correction effects on the process mainly come from the terms of the tree-level Wqq' couplings.In the reasonable parameter space of the SU(3) simple group model,the deviation of the total production cross sectionσ^(tot) from its SM value is larger than 5%,which might be detected in the future high energy linear e^+e^- collider (LC) experiments.
We investigate the associated production of the neutral top-Higgs h_t～0 with a pair of top-quarks in the context of the topcolor-assisted technicolor (TC2) model at the future e+e-Linear Colliders (LC) i.e.e+e-→t(-|t)h_t～0.We calculate the production rate and present the distributions of the transverse momenta of top-Higgs and top-quarks.The results show that the total cross section is typically of the order of 1.0-7.5 fb in the energy range between 1000 GeV and 2000 GeV of the LC for the whole top-Higgs mass region of interest.It should be distinctly possible that hundreds or even thousands of ht0 signals can be produced per year at the LC given the luminosity L= 500 fb-1.
The 140 MeV/u 40,48Ca+9Be and 58,64Ni+9Be reactions are simulated by the statistical abrasion ablation model,and the simulation results are compared to the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory (NSCL) experimental data.By comparing the fragment isotopic distributions of 40,48Ca and 58,64Ni,we study the isospin effect in the projectile fragmentation induced by the neutron-rich nuclei at intermediate energy experimentally and theoretically.It is found that the isospin effect in projectile fragmentation decreases and even disappears as the violence of the collision increases.
