利用基于Win-XP环境的示波器数据获取系统测量PMT的单光电子谱被引量:1

针对常见型号的示波器(Agilent, Tektronix, Lecroy, R/GOL等),在、vin.XP系统中,基于LabVIEW8.0软件框架,编译其底层软件和用户界面软件,通过调用示波器的驱动程序子VI和功能函数子Ⅵ,成功开发了多功能示波器取数系统。结合离线软件处理,该系统可以实现电荷积分、时间测量、计数、波形测量和波形图存储功能。通过对比此系统与VME系统测量的R5912光电倍增管的单光电子谱,此款示波器取数系统的性能得到了详细研究。

Hybrid density functional studies of cadmium vacancy in CdTe

The intrinsic defect of cadmium vacancy(VCd) in cadmium telluride(CdTe) has been studied by first-principles calculations using potentials with both the screened hybrid functional of Heyd, Scuseria, and Ernzerhof(HSE) approximation and the generalized gradient approximation of the Perdew–Burke–Ernzerhof form(PBE-GGA). Both results show that the Tdstructure of the VCddefect for different charges is the most stable structure as compared with the distorted C3vstructure with one hole localized at one of the four nearest Te atoms. This indicates that the John–Teller distortion(C3v) structure may be unstable in bulk CdTe crystal. The reason likely lies in the delocalized resonance nature of the t2state of the VCd defect. Moreover, the formation energy obtained by the HSE method is about 0.6–0.8 eV larger than that obtained by the PBE method. The transition levels calculated by the PBE method and the HSE method are similar and well consistent with the experimental results.

Development of a portable and fast wire tension measurement system for MWPC construction

In a multi-wire proportional chamber detector(MWPC), the anode and signal wires must maintain suitable tension, which is very important for the detector's stable and accurate performance. As a result, wire tension control and measurement is essential in MWPC construction. A high pressure3 He MWPC detector is to be used as the thermal neutron detector of the multi-functional reflectometer at China Spallation Neutron Source, and in the construction of the detector, we have developed a wire tension measurement system. This system is accurate,portable and time-saving. With it, the wire tension on an anode wire plane has been tested. The measurement results show that the wire tension control techniques used in detector manufacture are reliable.
