One-dimensional local Dirichlet spaces associated with linear diffusions are studied. The first result is to give a representation for any 1-dim local, irreducible and regular Diriehlet space. The second result is a necessary and sufficient condition for a Diriehlet space to be regular subspace of another Dirichlet space.
In this paper, we establish existence and uniqueness of the mild solutions to a class of neutral stochastic evolution equations driven by Poisson random measures in some Hilbert space. Moreover, we adopt the Faedo-Galerkin scheme to approximate the solutions.
In this paper,we investigate the expectation of the size of the largest table in an(α,θ)-Chinese restaurant process by using and developing an idea originated in the work by Shepp, which discusses random permutation.
In this short note we study how two colors, red and blue, painted on a given graph are evolved randomly according to a transition rule which aims to simulate how people influence each other. We shall also calculate the probability that the evolution will be trapped eventually using the martingale method.
