Electrochemical properties of cobalt-free La_(0.80)Mg_(0.20)Ni_(2.85)Al_(0.11)M_(0.53) (M=Ni,Si,Cr,Cu,Fe) alloys被引量:1

In order to investigate the effect of different B-site additions on phase structure and electrochemical properties of cobalt-free La-Mg-Ni based alloys, La0.80Mg0.20Ni2.85Al0.11M0.53 (M=Ni, Si, Cr, Cu, Fe) hydrogen storage alloys were prepared and studied systematically. X-ray powder diffraction showed that the alloys consisted mainly of LaNi3 phase and LaNi5 phase except that Cr addition caused a minor Cr phase. Electrochemical testing indicated that alloys with additional Ni, Cr, Cu or Fe were activated within only 1-2 cycles, while that with Si addition needed 4 cycles. Adding Si, Cu and Fe increased cycling stability of La-Mg-Ni based alloys. However, maximum discharge capacity decreased from 362 mAh/g to 215 mAh/g in the order of Ni>Fe>Cu>Cr>Si. In addition, electrochemical kinetics of alloy electrodes was also researched by measuring high rate discharge ability (HRD), hydrogen diffusion coefficient (D) and limiting current density (IL).

为了提高La-Mg-Ni基贮氢合金的荷电保持率,本文研究了La/Nd比的变化对La-Mg-Ni基贮氢合金自放电性能的影响。随着Nd替代La量的增加,(LaxNdy)0.9Mg0.10Ni3.09Mn0.12Co0.60Al0.13(x/y=5,4,3,2,1)合金的荷电保持率先增大后减小,当x/y=4时,其荷电保持率达到最大值80.8%(318 K)。合金电极贮存后,FESEM-EDS和XRD分析表明,合金颗粒表面形成了Mg(OH)2和Nd(OH)3。P-C-T曲线和Tafel极化测试表明,随着Nd含量的增加,金属氢化物的稳定性呈现先增加后降低和腐蚀电流先减小后增大的规律。

Effect of commercial AB_5 alloy addition on the electrochemical properties of Ml-Mg-Ni-based hydrogen storage alloys

A commercial AB5 hydrogen storage alloy was used as an additive to improve the electrochemical properties of Ml-Mg-Ni-based hydrogen storage alloys. The effect of AB5 alloy addition on the phase structure, charge/discharge characteristics, and electrochemical kinetics of Ml0.90Mg0.10Ni3.08Mn0.13Co0.63Al0.14 alloy was investigated. The maximum discharge capacity of Ml0.90Mg0.10Ni3.08Mn0.13Co0.63Al0.14 + 4 wt.% AB5 electrode reaches 406 mAh/g. The anodic polarization, cyclic voltammetry, and potential step discharge experiments show that the elec-trochemical kinetics of the electrode with additives was promoted, with the LaNi5 phase of AB5 alloy acting as electro-catalytic sites in the electrode alloy. The high-rate dischargeability of Ml0.90Mg0.10Ni3.08Mn0.13Co0.63Al0.14 + 4 wt.% AB5 alloy electrode at 1100 mA/g reaches 60.9%, which is 9.4% higher than that of Ml0.90Mg0.10Ni3.08Mn0.13Co0.63Al0.14 alloy electrode. The cycling stability of the electrode with 4 wt.% AB5 alloy has also been improved.

酸化镀铜复合表面处理对AB3型贮氢合金电化学性能的影响被引量:1

研究了酸化镀铜表面复合处理对AB3型贮氢合金La0.88Mg0.12Ni2.95Mn0.10Co0.55Al0.10电化学性能的影响。经酸化镀铜复合表面处理后,AB3型贮氢合金的初始活化性能、倍率放电性能和循环稳定性均得到明显提高,1st/max从61.1%提高到75%左右,在0.2和5放电电流密度下合金的HRD分别提高7.0%和12.8%,合金电极在100周时的容量保持率100从91%升高到93%以上。合金表面镀覆的铜层对合金内部金属元素的保护作用有效地改善了AB3型贮氢合金的电化学性能。酸化镀铜复合表面处理实现了酸处理和表面镀铜在同一处理液中一步完成,是一种简单方便的表面改性处理方法。

Effects of Fe-substitution for cobalt on electrochemical properties of La-Mg-Ni-based alloys被引量:11

In order to improve electrochemical properties,especially cycling stability,Co was partially substituted by Fe in A2B7-type La-Mg-Ni-based alloys.The La0.74Mg0.26Ni2.55Co0.65-xFex(x=0,0.10,0.20,0.30) alloys were prepared by inductive melting,and their phase structure and electrochemical properties were studied.The XRD and SEM results showed that the alloys consisted mainly of(La,Mg)2Ni7 phase,(La,Mg)5Ni19 phase and LaNi5 phase,except for absence of LaNi5 phase in the non-substituted alloy.The(La,Mg)5Ni19 phase and LaNi5 phase increased and the(La,Mg)2Ni7 phase decreased as Fe content increased.The partial Fe substitution for Co decreased the maximum discharge capacity to some extent;however,the cycling stability was improved and the self-discharge was remarkably suppressed by Fe substitution.The linear polarization and cyclic voltammetry measurements showed that the electro-catalytic activity and hydrogen diffusibility were both deteriorated by Fe substitution and thus the high rate dischargeability decreased.

电镀镍-钴合金对La-Mg-Ni基贮氢合金电化学性能的影响被引量:6

为了改善La-Mg-Ni基贮氢合金的循环稳定性和综合电化学性能,研究了电镀镍-钴合金对La0.88Mg0.12Ni2.95Mn0.10Co0.55Al0.10贮氢合金粉末表面形貌和电极电化学性能的影响.FESEM表明,电镀处理后合金粉末表面沉积了球状的镍-钴合金颗粒.电化学性能测试表明,贮氢合金电极的放电容量、高倍率放电性能和循环稳定性均得到了显著改善.200周循环时合金电极的容量保持率从未处理合金电极的60%提高到镀覆镍-钴合金的80%,在放电电流密度1080mA/g下的高倍率放电性能提高了23%.线性极化曲线和电化学阻抗分析结果显示,包覆镍-钴合金后贮氢合金电极表面的电荷转移速率加快,电催化活性提高.

Effects of annealing treatment on the microstructure and electrochemical properties of low-Co hydrogen storage alloys containing Cu and Fe被引量:10

The effects of annealing treatment on the microstructure and electrochemical properties of low-Co LaNi 3.55 Mn 0.35 Co 0.20 Al 0.20 Cu 0.75 Fe 0.10 hydrogen storage alloys were investigated. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis indicated that annealing treatment remarkably reduced the lattice strain and defects, and increased the unit-cell volume. The optical microscope analysis showed that the as-cast alloy had a crass dendrite microstructure with noticeable composition segregation, which gradually disappeared with increasing annealing temperature, and the micro-structure changed to an equiaxed structure after annealing the alloy at 1233 K. The electrochemical tests indicated that the annealed alloys demonstrated much better cycling stability compared with the as-cast one. The capacity retention at the 100th cycle increased from 90.0% (as-cast) to 94.7% (1273 K). The annealing treatment also improved the discharge capacity. However, the high rate dischargeability (HRD) value of the annealed alloy slightly dropped, which was believed to be ascribed to the decreased exchange current density and the hydrogen diffusion coefficient in alloy bulk.

质子交换膜燃料电池用碳纤维在浆液中分散机理研究被引量:2

本文对市售典型碳纤维进行表面处理,根据毛细管渗透原理,测试碳纤维的润湿性能。对处理前后的碳纤维表面进行红外光谱、SEM、Zeta电位分析,结果发现,碳纤维的表面状况、分散剂粘度和Zeta电位是影响其在浆液中分散的主要因素。初步探讨了碳纤维在浆液中分散的机理,为合成燃料电池电极扩散层碳纸的功能性添加剂提供了理论指导,同时也为制备性能良好的质子交换膜燃料电池电极扩散层基底材料奠定了基础。

电吸附法净化湿法磷酸中铁铝的工艺研究被引量:5

采用电吸附法对湿法磷酸进行铁和铝净化是一种净化湿法磷酸的全新方法。通过分组对比实验,测定了铁和铝的有效含量。实验结果表明,电极材料和所添加配位剂对电吸附法净化湿法磷酸有显著影响,反应时间、反应温度和吸附电压有所影响。铁和铝的净化率达到24.23%和9.52%左右。

Influences of molybdenum substitution for cobalt on the phase structure and electrochemical kinetic properties of AB_5-type hydrogen storage alloys被引量:8

The effects of the partial replacement of Co with Mo on the phase structure and electrochemical kinetic properties of La0.35Ce0.65Ni3.54Co0.80-xMn0.35Al0.32Mox (x=0.00, 0.10, 0.15, 0.20, 0.25) hydrogen storage alloys prepared by arc-melting method were sys-tematically studied in this paper. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) showed that after partial substitution of Mo for Co, the alloys remained a single LaNi5 phase with a hexagonal CaCu5-type structure. The P-C isotherms indicated that the equilibrium pressure gradually decreased with in-creasing of Mo content. Electrochemical studies showed that the substitution of Mo for Co could greatly increase discharge capacity, improve activation ability and reduce self-discharge of alloy electrodes. The alloy with x=0.25 exhibited a higher rate dischargeability (HRD1200= 50.9%). Moreover, Mo is a vital element in favor of kinetic properties of AB5-type hydrogen storage alloys. As Mo content increased, the ex-change current density I0, the hydrogen diffusion rate gradually increased.
