Relationship between composite structures and compressive properties in CuZr-based bulk metallic glass system被引量:8

Bulk metallic glass (BMG) composites with the austenite B2 phase as reinforcement macroscopically showed strain hardening behavior due to the plasticity induced by martensitic transformation during deformation. Relationship between characteristics of the B2-CuZr reinforcing phase and uniaxial compressive properties of CuZr-based BMG composites was studied. Mechanical properties of these BMG composites were found to depend on not only the reinforced phases but also the amorphous matrix,and the yield and fracture strength can be roughly estimated by the rule of mixture principle. Distribution of the reinforced B2-CuZr phase has an important impact on the compressive plasticity even for the composites with a similar volume fraction of the crystalline phase.

Glass transition kinetics of La_(55)Al_(25)Ni_(10)Cu_(10) bulk metallic glass by electrical resistivity measurement被引量:1

The glass transition behavior of La55A125-Ni10CU10 bulk metallic glass was investigated using elec-trical resistivity and differential-scanning calorimetry measurements. There are good agreements of the onset temperature (Tg-onset) and the end temperature (Tg-end) of the glass transition between the DSC curve and tempera-ture dependent electrical resistivity (TER) curve in the same heating rate. Kinetics of the glass transition is studied with the electrical resistivity data. The apparent activation energy of the glass transition (△Eg) is found to be 306.4 kJ.mol^-1. Fragility parameter D^* and VFT temper-ature To are 9.8 and 324.9 K, respectively.

研究了Fe76-xC7.0Si3.3B5.0P8.7Cux(x=0、0.3%或0.7%(原子分数))非晶合金中Cu的添加及纳米晶的形成对其软磁性能的影响,对合金的微观结构进行了X射线衍射实验和高分辨透射电镜观察,对合金的热稳定性和晶化激活能进行了测量和分析。结果表明,该合金退火之后的饱和磁化强度与合金中α-Fe纳米晶粒的密度和大小密切相关。Cu的添加可以影响合金的非晶形成能力、热稳定性和晶化激活能,添加少量的Cu(少于0.3%(原子分数))可以有效地提高合金的非晶形成能力,抑制退火过程中α-Fe纳米晶粒的析出,增强合金的热稳定性,而当Cu的添加量达到0.7%(原子分数)时可以降低合金的晶化激活能,促进α-Fe纳米晶粒的形核,提高α-Fe纳米晶粒的密度,使合金的饱和磁化强度达到1.79T。
