A new series of binary Schiff base ligands L 1H 2～L 8H 2 were synthesized by Condensation of substituted salicylaldehydes with o diaminobenzene or its sbstituted derivatives.CoL 1～CoL 8 were obtained from L 1H 2～L 8H 2 and were characterized by elemental analysis、IR、 1HNMR and MS.
