Social Informatics(SI)refers to a multidisciplinary research field that examines the social aspects of computerization,and the design,uses and implications of information and communication technologies in ways that account for their interactions with social contexts.This paper reviews the advances in SI and describes the concerns of SI researchers.The research and education activities about SI are also outlined.
The definition of knowledge management is discussed.Its kernel and goal are expounded.The paper then discusses the law of the inner knowledge market of a company.Finally,it introdues two tactics of knowledge management.
