This paper centers on the integrated learning of English and law in China.Firstly,it outlines the importance of English in the solution of the ever increasing legal disputes between China and the outside world,which inevitably involves an integrated learning of English and law.Secondly,it points out that the content of legal English reflects a combination of legal knowledge and English skills.Thirdly,it expounds on the difficulties that Chinese English majors are facing in the process of learning English and law simultaneously and furnishes some practical suggestions.
电影在中西文化交流中发挥着重要作用。其中爱情电影中的情感表达和情绪阐述,尤其能够在观众中引起情感共鸣。毋庸置疑,好的爱情电影所演绎的主题和人物命运总是能够帮助观众快速代入情绪,从而激发出观众的观影欲望。一部好的爱情电影往往有一个好的电影片名,因此,爱情电影片名的翻译对于帮助观众前期铺垫热度起着重要作用。文章从爱情电影片名的翻译着手,分析了爱情电影片名的语言特征。然后运用目的论翻译理论,探讨了翻译好一部爱情电影片名,一要针对爱情电影的受众群体,二要洞悉目的语与译入语的差别。同时通过案例分析,详细解读了目的论的三大翻译原则在爱情电影片名中的具体应用。Movies play an important role in the cultural communication between Chinese and Western countries. Love movies are especially characteristic of arousing passion and enthusiasm in the audience for their emotional expression and exposition. There is no doubt that the theme and the fate of the characters in a good love movie can always help strike a chord in the heart of the audience, thus stimulating the audience’s desire to watch the movie. A good love movie always carries a good title. Therefore, the translation of the title of a love movie is crucial in helping the audience to look forward to watching the movie. This paper begins with the translation of love movie titles and analyzes the linguistic features of love movie titles. Then, the author discusses how to translate the title of a love movie by applying Skopos theory. First, it is necessary to target the audience of the love movie;second, it is necessary to understand the difference between the target language and the source language. At the same time, the author explains in detail the application of the two strategies of Skopos theory in the translation of the title of love film through case analysis.
禁忌语作为一种人们在日常交际中经常使用的语言,普遍存在于中西文化中。然而,禁忌语在中西文化中的含义和用法是有很大差异的,研究并运用这种差异,对于中西文化交流具有重要意义。文章从中西文化中禁忌语存在的差异着手,从文化层面分析禁忌语的定义、发展演变、中西文化中禁忌语的相似与不同之处,同时从实际运用的角度阐述中西文化交流中如何正确运用禁忌语,从而避免因禁忌语的误用而产生语言误解和文化冲突。As a kind of language that people often use in daily communication, taboo words generally exist in Chinese and Western cultures. However, there are great differences in the meaning and usage of taboo words in Chinese and Western cultures. To study and apply this difference is of great significance for the communication between Chinese and Western cultures. Starting from the differences between taboos in Chinese and Western cultures, this paper analyzes the definition, development and evolution of taboos, as well as the similarities and differences between taboos in Chinese and Western cultures from the cultural level. At the same time, it expounds on how to correctly use taboos in the cultural communication between China and Western countries from the perspective of practical application, so as to avoid language misunderstanding and cultural conflicts caused by the misuse of taboos.
