Cyclic voltammetry(CV)and ultravioletvisible spectroscopy(UV) were used to study cerium amino acid complexes.The amino acids are Phenylananine,Histidine,Serine,Threonine and Glutamicacid.These amino acids can coordinate with cerium ion(Ⅳ) to form complexes at near neutral condition(pH=7).At the same time,the denaturing ployacrylamidegel electrophoresissilver dye method was used to analyze the hydrolysis of 26mers oligodeoxyribonucleotide by cerium amino acid complexes around the neutral condition(pH=7).The results show that these cerium amino acid complexes can cleavage DNA at different degree.We also analyze the possible mechanism of the different hydrolysis effects.
