Democracy is what people in every corner of the world pursue. Americans are of no exception. The United States of American has long enjoyed a reputation of high democracy. Thus, this paper will dig deep to see the development and nature of American Democracy based on the discussion of three significant documents: the Declaration of Independence, the US Constitution and the Gettysburg Address.
